I was in a bar somewhere in Timog drowning myself with beer when a guy suddenly approached me. “Hey pretty girl, can I sit on your table?” I just nodded without saying a thing. He started a conversation asking why a pretty lady like was drinking alone? I told him I just broke up with my man coz he has another girl. He pampered me and gave a tiny piece of advice. We spend the whole night talking and ended exchanging numbers before we parted ways.

The FEU Tamaraws rallied from 16 points down in the third quarter to sweep the season series, 74-69, against the UST Tigers in overtime last August 17 in UAAP Season 71. Reil Cervantes made his 22nd birthday more memorable after chipping in a career high of 20 points, while captain Benedict Fernandez made crucial three-pointers to spark the Tams’ rally.
Reigning MVP Jervy Cruz also posted a career-best of 30 points but received minimal help from the rest of the Tigers. FEU lifted its record to 7-3, while UST tumbled to 4-6. To view the photo gallery please click HERE

It has been 17 years of intricate life; A life that is too difficult to explain, and too difficult to understand. In my 17 years of existence, I could definitely say that I had experienced almost all genres of hurtful experiences, even the smallest thing up to the biggest one- my studies, peer pressure, at school, some teachers, love, my family, and even to some extended family members. Perhaps these things have made myself as hard as steel, but just like the steel, even how hard it is, still there is the rust that would make it frail.

The FEU Tamaraws halted a two-game skid by defeating the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 70-62, in their Round 2 matchup at the UAAP Season 71 on August 14, 2008. Marlon Adolfo posted career highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds and led a crucial run in the third quarter after both teams played a tight contest in the first half.
FEU solidified its hold on third place at 6-3, while Adamson slid to 2-7 in a tie for last place in the standings. To view the photo gallery click HERE
